23At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. 25See, I have told you ahead of time.

 26"So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. 27For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Friday, August 8, 2008 -- Watered my garden a bit late this morning. Plants are doing ok. I'm busy working on my new webpages, regarding counterfeit revival, false prophets, and Todd Bentley and the Lakeland Revival. I've moved the apologetics topics to other pages, so I can keep my blog pages for other stuff .....
Saturday, August 9, 2008-- Still reading up on the history of counterfeit revival. What a fascinating topic! I've been adding many links to sources .... Worked in my garden just before the sun went down. The temperature cooled off to around mid-80s. I cleaned out my patch of collard greens and kale. Picked a large bowl of greens (no swiss chard this time, not enough to pick yet). Got lots of kale and collard greens, and some mustard greens. Forgot to pick green onions.
    I found lots more baby mustard green plants, hidden under the bushes. I trimmed the bushes (some kind of weed that is providing much needed shade all around my garden), so the baby mustard greens will get more sunlight and grow. Looks like at least 50 mustard green plants growing, and possibly some radish plants just coming up(?). Will know soon enough ..... Should have some squash to pick within a week or ten days. I noticed both cherry tomato plants have fruit; green peppers are growing, but too small. watermelon plants seem to still be growing .... Looks like the cantaloup plants will not survive .... I think all the cucumber plants are dead.
    I must get some hay, straw, and manure, and prepare the beds to hold in more moisture. Also need to have something to cover the ground to keep the dirt cooler, and not dry out so quickly. Too late for this summer. Maybe I can collect some leaves around the neighborhood for my fall garden? I still need more sticks for peas and beans .....
