RO SHUTDOWN
- Not getting enough water pressure.
a. Check Gauge 1 for water pressure. Pressure should be close to 40. If not, you may not be getting
enough incoming water pressure.
b. Check to see that the Booster Pump is running and that Gauge 2 is 60-80 PSI.
c. Check that all valves before the RO are in their proper positions, opened or closed (use Water
Treatment System Valve Tag Identification Chart on the wall).
d. Turn RO off and then back on again.
- Water temperature is too high (this will also cause a high temp. alarm).
a. Check Temperature gauge T for water temperature and adjust Mixing Valve as needed.
b. Check ECM-100 (Monitor on RO face) for water temperature and adjust Mixing Valve if needed.
- Multimedia Filter, Water Softener, or Carbon Tank in backwash.
a. Make sure that none of the pretreatment tanks are in backwash. If a multimedia or carbon tank is in backwash slowly turn timer nob to start position. If the softener is in regenerate you must wait for the cycle to complete on its own.
b. Check times on Timer Heads to make certain they are correct. Adjust to correct time if needed.
c. Turn RO off and then back on again.
- Breaker popped.
a. Check breaker to make sure it is on.
b. Turn RO off and then back on again.
- Other alarm condition has shut off the RO.
a. Check ECM-100 (Monitor on RO face) for other alarm conditions.
