PRE-TREATMENT: MIXING VALVE


      * Also known as a Blending valve, Tempering valve, or Temperature Blending valve.

      * Blends Hot and Cold Water to allow optimum operation of the Carbon Tanks and
         Reverse Osmosis Unit (RO).

      * Optimum temperature ranges:
             - Conventional RO        72-82 degrees F.
             - CWP RO                     65-75 degrees F.

      * Temperature is monitored immediately after the Mixing Valve and documented on
         the Daily Water Quality Monitoring Log on a daily basis.
