Hello, and welcome to WMW: "World Monster Wrestling". There is a place called "Monster Island" off the coast of Japan. All the monsters in the world are there. The "Monster Island Bureau" has captured and contained the monsters on that island, and the monsters seem to be able to live there in peace. However, constant peace with no fighting has gotten them to be a bit bored and eager to fight. If they were left in this state, they are liable to break out and wreak havoc. In order to keep their aggressiveness under control; we need to be able to let them release their anger. We have devised a plan to not only control anger, but to provide entertainment. The answer is monster wrestling.

We have built a large city on a small island near "Monster Island", dubbed "Fight Island". We transported monsters from "Monster Island" to there and have them engage in wrestling style fights broadcasted to Godzilla Tower. You may be wondering how we can do this. After the incident of 1966, Planet X has become allies to the earth, especially to Japan and America, who were the major handlers of the incident. Using their technology, we are able to produce these matches. Monsters are transported to the island by flying saucers, electromagnetic waves keep their minds in control at times, and an innovation called the "Beta 13" rebuilds damaged buildings. Thirteen minutes after an object like a building is destroyed, it can be instantly rebuilt with this device. The people from Planet X get the same things out of this that we do. Not only is it an extremely popular show over there, but it keeps space monsters from their own version of Monster Island, "Monster Canyon", under control.

WMW is both necessary and entertaining. The monsters enjoy it to, because they have fun doing what they like best: fighting. Bloodthirsty monsters can even kill their opponents if they wish, because the medical aspect of Planet X is so good they can bring the dead back to life and healthy again using a special method requiring only one living cell. It don't work on humans or Planet X people yet, but they are working on it. Long dead creatures can be cloned, so we can get all the monsters in existence here. Using a special brain inducing process, all monsters are embedded with the memory of their predecessors, so past grudges can be played on. With this entire great Planet X technology, we can bring you the best monster wrestling program around. It's fun for everyone, even the monsters themselves.
