Short Results.Hello everybody, and welcome to yet another episode of WMW Thursday Thrash! Sure we now have a bunch of people doing their own weekly shows, but I still wanted to pop in every month of so to announce one of my own. As usual we have a great hunk of monster wrestling action to witness tonight, and to start off we have a re-match of sorts between Gojira and a group of Dianii aliens. This match originally was suppose to air years ago, but unfortunately the footage from the pre-taped battle on Monster Island was lost in a horrific computer data deletion accident. Having greatly underestimated the power of Gojira, the Dianii hunters failed in their task, but now they have a second chance to prove their hunting prowess. As with most "squads" of relatively smaller beings on this show, we’ve got six of them, but to up the ante even more we allowed them to bring in their space ship and a seventh member to pilot it. Let’s see if a bunch of giant aliens with all their high-tech weaponry can defeat the greatest kaiju ever to exist.
Gojira Challange #2
VS
Gojira Dianii Alien Hunters
Iguanoman:
Welcome to Portland Oregon! Or at least a fabricated version of it on a domed space station in orbit around Earth. Gojira has been teleported to one side of town, and the Dianii are near their landed ship on the other side of the river.Dianii Leader: <Alright, I want everybody to fan out and surround this beast. Use those human buildings for cover and don’t make your presence known until I give the signal. You on the ship, standby until the time is right. Now... let the hunt begin!>
Iguanoman:
With that, the hunters indeed spread out into the city. Godzilla himself heads strait for downtown, constantly scanning the area to find his enemy, but failing to locate any of the sneaky aliens. He gives out a mighty roar, as if angered at their cowardly tactics and demanding that they show themselves. His challenge is answered.Dianii Leader: <Now!>
Iguanoman:
With that signal, the hunters let loose with their various weapons! From all sides Gojira is bombarded with mega-zooka blasts, plasma-rifle shots, incendiary grenades, and explosive-tipped arrows! Pretty soon the aliens are not firing at a creature, but a massive cloud of smoke and dust seemingly roaring in pain! After annihilating just about everything in the area, the Dianii finally stop their assault. After a while, the smoke clears, revealing nothing but a smoldering crater in it’s place.Dianii Grenade-Master: <Wow! We vaporized him!>
Dianii Leader: <Don’t be so sure. This is a tough creature.>
Iguanoman:
Most of the Dianii are now checking the crater, trying to figure out what happened to their prey. Gojira appears to have vanished without a trace, until one of the Dianii spots something. He pokes the ground with his spear.Dianii Spear-Master: <The soil appears to have been churned up, as if the creature dug into it. But this beast is not a burrowing creature... so he couldn’t have gone far... meaning... uh-oh.>
Dianii Bow-Master: <AAARRGGHH!>
Iguanoman:
As if on cue, Gojira’s hand thrusts up from below the earth and grabs the bow-wielding Dianii by the leg! He screams in pain as he is violently being pulled under the ground! The other Dianii come to his aid and grab onto him, trying to wrest him from grasp of the massive beast from below. Eventually they succeed, but as they drag him away, one can clearly see what used to be his legs spilling green blood everywhere. The injured Dianii looks at his shredded limbs.Dianii Bow-Master: <Stupid monster! I’ll get you for this! I’ll make you pay! I’ll...>
Iguanoman:
A massive blue beam of super-heated energy erupts from below and engulfs the Dianii hunter entirely. The rest of the Dianii back away from the scene, knowing full well that their prey is alive and bent on their demise. Bursting out of the dirt and ruble comes Gojira, already healed from his rest below the surface, and now ready to start the real fight.Dianii Leader: <Everyone scatter!>
Dianii Spear-Master: <No. I can take him out myself.>
Dianii Leader: <Have you learned nothing? This beast cannot be underestimated!>
Iguanoman:
Apparently he doesn’t care, cause he just chucked a spear at Gojira, but the kaiju dodges it. He throws another spear, which is grabbed in mid-air by Gojira, who snaps it in halve with the hand that grabbed it. Now down to his last spear, the Dianii charges at Gojira, intent on ramming him at high speeds with the pointed weapon. With one quick slap of his tail, Gojira knocks the Dianii out of the way, causing the alien to slam hard into a building, causing a torrent of shattered glass to spill on his form.Dianii Spear-Master: <Indeed you are a worthy opponent! Well if I have to take you on with my bare hands, so be it! Ah... would you look at that... the beast is playing with my spear! The stupid creature has no idea what to do with even the simplest of weapons! It is to laugh!> *shunk*
Iguanoman:
Impaled through the head by his own spear. How ironic. Well the rest of the Dianii are back on their usual attack of peeking out from behind buildings and blasting away with their weapons. Gojira tries to counter-attack with his thermonuclear beam, but the small and agile aliens keep evading. A small object whizzes through the air and lands near Gojira, and a few seconds latter it explodes, rocking the kaiju’s form. Gojira gives a quick roar of pain before noticing another grenade-like object heading for him. Knowing what is coming, he kicks the object back to where it came from. The explosion just barely misses the grenade-throwing Dianii.Dianii Grenade Master: <That was a close one!>
Dianii Leader: <Wait for my signal before you throw another one. You two, continue to fire at the beast! It will provide a distraction as I go around and trip him with the bolas.>
Iguanoman:
It appears as if their plan is working, as Gojira runs strait at the Dianii with the Plasma Rifle and the Mega-Zooka while what appears to be the leader of the hunters strafes to the side undetected. One good shot with the bolas latter, and Gojira falls on his face.Dianii Gun-Master: <Good shot sir! The beast is down, and just before he got to us as well!>
Dianii Leader: <Yes, and as he struggles to stand up, we can finish him off. Pilot, fly the ship over here and help deliver the killing blow!>
Dianii Heavy-Weapons Master: <That’s odd, he appears to be foaming at the mouth... and glowing.>
Iguanoman:
Before they can figure out what’s happening, a powerful thermonuclear pulse erupts from Gojira and knocks the two Dianii standing near him away. Having melted the bolas, Gojira is free to stand up and walk over to his fallen enemies. Picking up both, he takes their heads and knocks them together, shattering their skulls and killing them instantly.Dianii Grenade-Master: <You’ll die for that you stupid animal!>
Iguanoman:
One good throw, and a grenade lands right in the middle of Gojira’s back spines. The subsequent explosion causes him to fall forwards and land on what’s left of the two Dianii he just killed.Dianii Grenade-Master: <I have a special present for you right here!>
Iguanoman:
He appears to be holding a small (yet more then likely very powerful) explosive device, and I’m thinking he plans to blow Gojira up with it. As the Dianii runs to his fallen foe to plant the bomb, Gojira notices the Mega-Zooka weapon and decides to pick it up. Having seen the weapon in action, he figures out how to fire it, and does so after pointing it at the charging Dianii. The subsequent explosion destroys what little is left of downtown Portland.Dianii Pilot: <Wow, is anybody still alive down there?>
Dianii Leader: <Only me, and the creature. Prepare to attack the prey with everything that ship has, because the beast is armed.>
Iguanoman:
He’s armed all right. Coming out of the dust cloud is Gojira, holding a Mega-Zooka in one hand and a Plasma Rifle in the other, both trained on the ship. Both sides fire with their weapons, blasting each other with explosive energy blasts of all sorts. The Dianii ship strafes Gojira, sending waves of missiles at the kaiju, but Gojira still stands and shoots his new-found devices. Pretty soon he adds his own weapon, the classic thermonuclear breath, into the mix and the ships shields appear to be wavering. One final blast of his nuclear beam and the ship is rocked by a massive explosion. The smoldering remains of the once space-worthy vessel fall sideways and smashes into a skyscraper before it’s fuel cells detonate.Dianii Leader: <This creature fails to understand the meaning of dying! Well if we were to loose today, then so be it, but I’m not going down without a fight!>
Iguanoman:
The last Dianii starts by making his presence known, causing Gojira to blast the spot where he stood. Dodging the attacks sent after him, the Dianii runs around the city, using the increasingly small number of buildings to hide his form. Gojira continues to hold the triggers of his new weapons, pumping numerous energy shots into the air and annihilating what little remains of the city. Eventually, after a couple of minutes of constant shooting, the guns run out of ammo. After looking down at the now useless weapons, Gojira then angrily throws them to the ground, and then proceeds to use the energy weapon that’s a part of him. Now searching aimlessly, Gojira wanders around the ruins of the city and tries to find the last enemy that eludes him. He goes to the river and starts smashing any houses he sees along it, but still cannot find his foe. Eventually, the Dianii makes his presence known as he bursts out of the water of the river and jumps onto Gojira’s back! Using what appears to be a knife, he stabs Gojira in the neck repeatedly, causing a fountain of blood to gush out! Doing the only thing he can think of at the time, Gojira falls backwards in an attempt to squash the smaller alien holding onto him, but the Dianii remains alive. Rolling off of the alien, Gojira stands up, but so does the Dianii, and soon they are confronting each other face to face. The Dianii slashes with his knife, Gojira swings with his fists, and soon they are grappling each other. In a struggle for power, both have their hand grabbing the other, pushing with all their might to attempt to overcome their respective enemies. Despite his small size, the Dianii is holding his own, seemingly matching the strength of the kaiju. The thing about Gojira, though, is that there’s more to him then sheer brute strength. With one swift move, he lowers his head and latches onto the Dianii’s face with his teeth. Spines now glowing with blue energy, Gojira readies up the end of the battle. After an outburst of energy at point-blank range, there isn’t much left of the Dianii leader.Well, Gojira’s done it again and beaten another challenge! I guess it goes to show that there’s no stopping the Big G! Next up we have the tag-team belt match between the current holders, the "Xillian Insurrection", and the newly-formed tag-team dubbed "The Lost Continent Alliance". Ghidorah, Gigan, and Megalon have been what you might call "good friends" for many years, despite a number of rough times along the way, and so mainly just wanted to have fun in the next WMW match. In order to do this "friendly competition", Megalon had to find a tag-team partner, and he did so with Manda. Both are the "gods" of underwater civilizations, and in fact this is a continuation of an alliance between the two countries made thousands of years ago when the Pacific Continent sank below the waves. To spice up this little bout, we’ve decided to finally get around to an idea we’ve been meaning to do for years. The whole "Snowglobe" orbital platform has been turned into a giant indoor arena of sorts with a huge wrestling ring in the middle. Super-large folding chairs are placed around the ring, allowing most of the kaiju residents of Monster Island to be teleported in and watch the fight just like us humans tend to watch wrestling matches. To further this little theme, we’ve brought in MOGERA to act as an impartial human-controlled pseudo-kaiju referee (sporting the world’s largest striped shirt). Let’s see if we can pull this little idea off, shall we?
WMW Tag Team Belts
VS
Kaiser Ghidorah and Gigan Megalon and Manda
Now entering the arena is the tag-team champions, Ghidorah and Gigan! They are greeted by a combination of cheers and jeers, with half the kaiju audience applauding them and the other half booing! It appears that Zigra has made a hastily-constructed sign reading "Go Ghidorah Go!", and Battra is down there holding something stating "Hey Ghidorah, You SuX!". My, what a mixed crowd. Gigan is first to enter the ring, jumping from the floor and over the ropes, and is followed by Ghidorah, who is sporting his "Monster X" look (probably to take advantage of the anthropomorphic situation). They take their belts off, hold them up for all to see, and then set them down in their corner of the ring. Megalon and Manda come in next, with Megalon wasting no time by flying right over and into the ring. Manda slithers/crawls over to the ring after him, slipping through the ropes and positioning herself next to him. Yes, herself, we’ve had our resident veterinarians check it for us. She goes up to her corner of the ring and goes behind the ropes, standing on the mat with her front legs resting on the top rope, and X (as I’ll call the morphed Ghidorah) goes to the opposite corner. MOGERA gets Gigan and Megalon’s attention, explains over it’s loudspeaker something about having a good, clean fight, and the two kaiju do their best to shake "hands" (more like colliding claw to drill). MOGERA signals for the bell to ring, and the match is on!
Immediately after the bell Gigan and Megalon start smacking each other around! Claws swipe, drill-hands slam, and they throw an occasional kick in as well! Being as thick-headed as they both are, they don’t appear to cause much damage as they slam metal appendages around, but it still gets the crowd cheering as they display some impressive fighting skills! Megalon puts his drills together, swings around in a wide arc, and slams hard into Gigan’s chest, sending him flailing backwards! Using the momentum he’s been given, Gigan bounces off the ropes and comes back fast to clothes-line Megalon with his hooked claw! Taking advantage of his downed opponent, Gigan does an impressive standing summersault and lands hard onto Megalon’s form, grabbing on immediately afterwards for a pin! 1... and it’s too early to end the battle just yet, as Megalon kicks out in a little over a second! One good clonk across the face, and Gigan backs away, giving Megalon a chance to get up. Before Megalon can attack again, Gigan tags X into the ring, who wastes no time in running over to spin-kick Megalon across the face! Lifting Megalon up, he body-slams the beetle-like kaiju back down before putting him in a head-lock. X squeezes as hard as he can, but Megalon’s exoskeleton is to thick to be effected by the pressure, so he has no trouble in powering out of the hold, standing up, and back-kicking X in the gut. Using his wings to hover in the air a bit, he slams his feet down into two of the three heads X has before going over to Manda to tag her in. Not only does he official get Manda into the fight, but he sort of lifts her slender form in his drills and literally throws his tag-team partner at X! Before X can react, he already has an elongated dragon latched onto his middle face with her teeth! While biting his head, Manda also wrapped around his form to try to crush him into submission! X delays for a bit to decide what to do about his situation, and decides that making his way to Gigan to tag him in is the best course of action. Once Gigan is the official fighter, Manda has no choice but to release X. Once Gigan hops over the ropes, Manda slithers down off of X and wraps around Gigan’s legs, tripping him up! Coiling her body around one of his legs and both of his arms, Manda has apparently got Gigan in a rather painful submission hold! Luckily for Gigan he’s close enough to the ropes to touch one, allowing MOGERA to enforce the rope-break and tell Manda to let go. She does so reluctantly, and is now facing Gigan head on as he gets up. Gigan runs over to kick Manda in the head, and then knee-drops her skinny body before slamming her across the back with his claws! He lifts up his other claw to deliver a strong blow, but he hits nothing but mat as Manda slithers out of the way. She quickly goes over to Megalon and tags him in. Gigan does the same, and tags in X.
Both kaiju charge right at one another, slamming hard in the middle of the ring. They kick and punch each other for a while, but it appears that Megalon is winning with his metal drill hands and hard exoskeleton. Megalon then bends down only to come back up fast to slam his horn into X’s middle chin. Reeling from the attack, X is slammed hard again by a drop kick to the knees. Megalon hops right back up and tags Manda, who goes right for X and uses the front halve of her body to tug X’s arms behind his head in what vaguely looks like a full nelson. Meanwhile, Megalon stands on top of the turnbuckle. Using her back legs, she pushes off the mat and makes X stand back up before swinging around to tag Megalon with her tail. Megalon dives off the turnbuckles and cross-body checks into X, causing all three kaiju to crash to the mat. Manda smartly slithers out of the ring so that MOGERA can go down and start the count. 1... 2... and a cluster-laser from Gigan blasts Megalon off of X! Megalon gets up and runs over to Gigan, and the two look like they’re in argument of some sort. I guess Megalon is upset about Gigan cheating, but then blasting Gigan with his horn-ray probably wasn’t the smartest solution to the problem. Now on the ground floor, Gigan shoots out his grappling cables and violently drags Megalon out of the ring! Now we have two kaiju fighting it out in the audience! While this is going on, Manda went back into the ring and bit X in the back! X turns around and tries to get her off of him, but Manda lets go on her own free will so that she could repeatedly snap at X, nipping quick bites at him all over! One good tail-slap to the back of the legs and X lands hard on the mat, allowing Manda to pin! MOGERA starts the count... 1... 2... and X blasts Manda off of him with the gravity rays from his eyes. While this is happening, the fight in the audience takes a turn for the worst as Megalon launches a napalm bomb which misses Gigan and collides with Gojira! Both Gigan and Megalon look on in horror as the King of the Monsters stands up from his folding chair, picks it up, and then chases after them intent on beating them senseless with it! Manda is getting beat senseless herself by X, who his whipping her around and slamming her body repeatedly into the mat! With a good swing, X throws Manda out of the ring, causing MOGERA to start the ten count! 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... and Megalon quickly flies into the ring to stop the count. His battle with Gojira kind of stopped when Gojira’s chair got stuck when he slammed it Gigan’s head, causing his head-spike to go through the seat. Speaking of folding chairs, Manda just picked up one with her teeth, throwing it at X to bounce off his left head! Seeing that his opponent is down, Megalon puts his drills together, revs them up, and looks intent on boring a hole through X! Just in time, X rolls out of the way, causing Megalon to poke through the mat instead! X runs over to the corner, and seeing that Gigan is not there to tag in, Megalon makes chase and charges at X drill-first! At the final moment, X drops down and trips Megalon up, causing him slam shoulder-first into the turnbuckle instead! As it turns out, Gigan was in the corner, hiding low and holding his tag-team belt, which he uses as a weapon to clonk Megalon hard across the head! X rips Megalon out of the turnbuckle, and pins him! Manda tries to slip through the ropes to stop the count, but Gigan sends out some flying circular saws to chop the opposite turnbuckle in halve, causing the ropes to fall down and tangle up Manda’s front legs! She tries valiantly to get out of the mess, but can’t in time as MOGERA drops down for the three-count! 1... 2... 3... and that’s the end of the match! MOGERA raises X’s hand and Gigan’s claw to show their victory as Manda finally gets loose and Megalon gets back to the conscious world. Now standing face to face, Gigan and Megalon look at each other for a while, and then Megalon puts his drill-hand out. Gigan taps the drill with his claw, signifying the end to a good fight. All four walk out of the arena to teleport out, followed by the audience.
Well, there you have it, the tag-team holders continue to hold their belts and all is well. Thus also ends our little experiment to put the "wrestling" back in WMW. Now for the more typical match we have here, we’ve got the battle for the United States Belt. Gorgo has been the dominant force in this category, holding the belt longer than any other, but now she must content with what Battra called her greatest challenge yet. I’m not entirely sure where he got this goofy-looking bird with the anti-mater shield but La Canyana, as she is called, might very well prove to be as powerful as stated. We’ll just have to see.
WMW American Monster Belt
VS
Gorgo La Canyana
We take you now to a re-creation of New York City! Well, not the entire city, just one part of Manhattan with the building in the wrong order, the Brooklyn Bridge in a spot it probably shouldn’t be, and the Statue or Liberty stuck much closer to land then it really is. I really have to speak to the technicians to be more accurate with their fabrications, but for now we’ll just stick with the current model. Both the monster from England and the French Canadian legend have been placed in front of the United Nations building, and everything is ready to begin. The moment the bell rings Gorgo charges forward as fast as she can (which isn’t very fast but she gets up to her opponent anyways) and throws a mighty punch with her giant fist! A spark of energy expels from the impact site, and Gorgo pulls her hand back in pain while La Canyana caws in apparent laughter. You see, the bird is protected by some kind of shield, and as far as our physicists can tell it appears to react in direct proportion to the amount of energy hitting it. So a strong blow would elicit a strong reaction to counteract it, and so basically the harder you punch the thing the more the antimatter will injure you. To make matters worse, La Canyana can pull down the shield at will, so as able to attack with beak and claw. So basically what I’m trying to say is that Gorgo’s in trouble.
La Canyana takes to the air and flies to Gorgo, flapping her wings in the dinosaur’s face and pecking like crazy! Gorgo takes a few swings, but her blows either bounce off the shield or are dodged by the agile flyer. After receiving a few nasty cuts from La Canyana’s sharp talons, Gorgo decides to switch tactics and grab the bird by her scrawny neck. Swinging with all her might, she throws La Canyana into the UN building, causing the whole thing to collapse onto the bird! Before the dust can even settle, La Canyana bursts out of the rubble emitting her distinctive cry and is back on the attack! Not wanting to receive any more claw marks, Gorgo appears to be running away! La Canyana flies up high into the air, and swoops down on her prey at high speeds! Just when it seems that Gorgo is about to receive death from above, she ducks, causing La Canyana to plow strait throw the building in front of her! I guess that was Gorgo’s plan when she "ran away", but it turns out that La Canyana wasn’t even fazed from smashing through the structure. Seemingly out of desperation, Gorgo grabs trucks, buses, chunks of buildings, street lamps, and just about everything she can get her hands on and throws them at the bird! Unfortunately for Gorgo, it seems that no matter what smacks into her, nothing is getting through that shield! One high-speed dive latter, and Gorgo is skidding headfirst through the streets from a massive body-slam! La Canyana follows up the blow by flying low and racking her talons across Gorgo’s body, but suddenly she stops in mid-air! Gorgo has grabbed her leg, and presses her advantage by pulling the bird down and smashing into the pavement! Gorgo gets up and steps on the bird before grabbing her neck again and wrenching it backwards in an attempt to snap La Canyana’s neck! She might have succeeded, but the buzzard’s freakishly long neck allowed her to slip upwards in the grasp and peck Gorgo in the eye! La Canyana flies back up as Gorgo roars in pain, and then decides that knocking over the nearby skyscraper is a good way to bury Gorgo in rubble! La Canyana caws in delight, thinking that she’s won this fight.
She may not have an anti-matter shield, but Gorgo is still a resilient monster. She slowly rises from the rubble, roaring in defiance to make her presence known! La Canyana continues the battle by plowing her shielded form into Gorgo again, but one good grab-and-whip and she’s back down to the pavement. Gorgo grabs onto her body and digs her claws in, trying her best to poke through the shield and do damage. La Canyana desperately flaps her wings, as if this attack might actually be harming her, and tries her best to get away. Realizing basic physics, Gorgo goes from pull to push and is now shoving La Canyana down the road! They make their way to the river before splashing down into the water! This is obviously not a good domain for a bird, but Gorgo definitely has the advantage down below the waves. She swims around and plows her body into La Canyana before grabbing on and attempting to keep her below the water, but even though her wings don’t work so well in the liquid, La Canyana somehow manages to lift above it. Her feathers still dry from the shield protecting them, the bird manages to fly upwards despite the dinosaur holding onto her leg. Her ascent stops, and looking down she notices that Gorgo has grabbed onto a bridge and is pulling her down. She decides to just stop flapping, causing both monster to crash on the road of the bridge. Gorgo gets right back up and grabs La Canyana’s head before smashing it repeatedly into the brick towers of the Brooklyn Bridge. She slams her head over and over again until the whole structure collapses, but despite her great efforts, La Canyana remains unharmed. Finally realizing the sheer force won’t work against the anti-matter shield, she tries again to use the slow and steady method of applying pressure with her claws, but La Canyana is ready this time. Using her talons to dig into Gorgo’s shoulders, she grabs on tight and flies up with the dinosaur in tow. Gorgo tries desperately to get loose, but La Canyana digs her giant claws deeper and deeper into Gorgo’s shoulders, actually piercing her thick hide and drawing blood. She flies over to the Chrysler building, bashes Gorgo through the top of the structure, and keeps holding so that she can bash Gorgo through the Empire State Building as well. Still holding Gorgo in her talons, La Canyana flies over to the Statue of Liberty before dropping Gorgo onto the bronze structure. Now laying on the collapsed statue and groggy from the pain, Gorgo reaches over and grabs the torch and arm. La Canyana swoops in and is met by a chunk of metal upside the face. After being smacked around by the torch part of a famous statue for a while, she grabs the offending arm with one of her clawed feet, and grabs the face of Gorgo with the other! Using her large wings for downward propulsion, she slams Gorgo down off the podium and into the gassy area below. Now gripping the already injured shoulders of Gorgo, she flaps downward with great force and in a way is pinning the dinosaur! Gorgo tries desperately to power out of the hold, but after all the injuries she’s received, she cannot muster enough energy. 1... 2... and 3. It’s official, Gorgo has lost and La Canyana is the new United States of America Title Belt Champion!
Looks like Gorgo finally had a challenger worthy enough of wrestling the belt away from her, and once again proved that it’ll take quite a bit to bring her down. As for what can possible bring down La Canyana, well only time will tell, but for now she’s the new belt holder. Speaking of belts, next up with have Anguirus defending his Japan belt against none other than Ultraman. The light warrior may have failed against Bagan last week, but now he has another chance of getting a belt. Still, you definitely can’t count out Anguirus, who has proven time and time again that sheer determination can indeed win the day.
WMW Japanese Kaiju Belt
The match shall take place in fairly typical environment for kaiju fighting, rural Japan. This particular place is a small town surrounded on all sides by mountains and various rock formations with the occasional farm or small building. Plenty of room to fight, but still some things to use. Anguirus is placed just outside of town, and across from him a small human-like being grows to large proportions, signaling the readiness of Ultraman. The bell rings, and Ultraman is immediately on the attack by crossing his arms and sending a beam to rock Anguirus’s form! Sparks and explosions erupt across the kaiju’s back, splintering off a few spikes, but the tough monster shrugs off the blast and charges forwards on all fours! Seeing his opponent coming, Ultraman leaps over Anguirus and grabs his tail! The kaiju struggles to get away, but with extreme strength Ultraman whips his whole body around and slams Anguirus down onto the dirt! The kaiju rolls over and gets back up to attack Ultraman again, but the light warrior grapples with the monster in an attempt to wrestle Anguirus into submission. Anguirus has other plans as he clamps down onto Ultraman’s arm with his tooth-lined jaws! Ultraman slams his elbow into Anguirus’s head repeatedly, trying to get the kaiju off of him, but the resilient beast refuses to looses his grip! Ultraman flies upwards with Anguirus still hanging onto his arm by his teeth, and soon the kaiju can no longer support his weight and lets go to fall to the ground. He lands back-first with an enormous "thud", and Ultraman lands much more gently next to him. He grabs the kaiju to lift him up, but Anguirus surprises him with a tail-whip to the face. Rolling over to a semi-standing position, Anguirus quickly jabs his spiked-line back into Ultraman, causing the warrior of light to go careening across a boulder-strewed valley. He bounces hard off a large pillar-like rock formation, and once he shakes off the pain he spots Anguirus charging right at him. The kaiju curls himself up into a ball and rolls forward, intent on squashing him between his spikes and the rock. Ultraman just barely rolls out of the way as Anguirus plows into the column of rock, obliterating the whole thing without he force and sending stone shrapnel to scatter everywhere! Ultraman wearily stands up, looks to where Anguirus had gone, and sees nothing but a pile of boulders. He goes over to the pile and seems to be trying to unearth his opponent.
What Ultraman doesn’t release, and us here with seismic sensors know full well, is that Anguirus used the opportunity to tunnel underground and towards the nearby cliff. 30,000 tons of kaiju forcefully digging underground is not good for structural integrity, and pretty soon we have a landslide. Ultraman turns around to spot a torrent of dirt and rock heading strait for him. He tries to fly away but the moving material catches his feet and he is buried from the waist down! Ultraman struggles to get out of the earthen debris, but the much more adept digger, Anguirus, comes to the surface and charges right for him! Thinking fast, Ultraman uses his forehead laser to knock Anguirus’s left arm/leg out from under him, but the kaiju slides across the loose soil and slams into Ultraman anyway! Despite an injured and bleeding arm, Anguirus goes right for the pin! 1... 2... and Ultraman power out, and I mean power out! He has lifted Anguirus over his head! One good throw and Anguirus is far away, allowing him to dig himself out of the dirt. Charging energy into his arms, he sends a discus of light out and towards Anguirus. Knowing full well that such an attack can chop off limbs, Anguirus dodges. The kaiju dodges again and again as the mind-controlled energy disk repeatedly attempts to cut into him, and somehow Anguirus manages to not get cut. Having failed with the powerful yet energy-consuming attack that would usually end the battle on a less-learned monster, Ultraman’s color timer starts to blink red. Wanting to finish the match, Ultraman starts to prepare a powerful beam, but before he can charge fully Anguirus is already right up in his face! The beam emits form his arms and nails Anguirus at point-blank range, initially a cry of pain and quick outpour of blood, but the tough kaiju keeps going and body-slams Ultraman to the ground! Now angered more then anything else from the pain, Anguirus uses his tail to brutally beat Ultraman senseless! Once his rage subsides a bit, Anguirus decides to end this by jumping up and slamming down hard back first onto Ultraman. He lies there on top to pin. 1... 2... and 3! Ultraman shoved the kaiju off of him a split-second later, but it was split-second too late! Anguirus is the winner, and still hold the Japan belt!
Ultraman may be a kaiju-fighting expert, but Anguirus is also an experienced combat expert. I suppose of Anguirus just stood there and be blasted in one shot, Ultraman would have won, but the kaiju knew that wouldn’t have worked. The advantage of being able to research your opponent before you fight them, I suppose. Anywho, next up we have our main event for this evening, the match for the World Title! Bagan defends his belt in a triangle match with the famous giant gorilla, King Kong, and the killer dragonfly from another time, Megaguirus. Now we may have matches now take place in an orbital platform, but we can still use the Beta 19 to recreate the original battlefield for WMW, Fight Island. I am told that the arena is ready for the monster to teleport in, and they are ready themselves. I of course am ready, and you should be ready soon as well. For all those in attendance, and for those watching at home, ladies, gentlemen, and kaiju fans, LET’S GET READY TO CRUMBLE!!!
Main Event
WMW World Belt
VS VS
Bagan Megaguirus King Kong
Not even waiting for the bell, Bagan is immediately on the attack by shooting forth his white-hot plasma beam right at Megaguirus! Thanks to her super speed, the dragonfly buzzes out of the way in time, meaning the beam destroyed the building behind her instead. Kong rears up and beats his chest as a show of dominance, and charges towards Bagan at full speed! Bagan meets the charge, and soon the two are grappling each other, struggling to see which one has more muscle. They push and shove with all their might, looking of all things like a couple of sumo wrestlers, and it seems as if neither one has a clear advantage in the strength department. Megaguirus ends the stalemate in a blur, traveling by Bagan at high speeds and using her sharp claw to slash him across the shoulder! Kong uses the opportunity to quickly put Bagan in a fireman’s carry, and after lifting the huge kaiju he slams his opponent hard to the ground. Bagan gets back up with amazing speed, roars in anger, and takes a swipe at Kong! The gorilla dodges the attack, grabs Bagan by the head, and drops down for a DDT! Kong then shows more of his wrestling skills by vertically suplexing Bagan into the brick building behind him. Amazing how Kong can handle such a large creature as if it weighed nothing, and also equally amazing how fast such a large creature like Megaguirus can move. With a massive sonic boom that shatters all the windows in the area, a dragonfly-shaped streak heads right for Kong and slams into him hard, causing the gorilla to go careening to the other side of the island! Bagan got back up, and sends out some energy stars at Megaguirus, but the agile insect gets out of the way of those as well. The obviously angered Bagan lets loose a roar of obvious anger, but in his rage he fails to see that Megaguirus is behind him. She tries her best to decapitate Bagan with her pincer claws, but Bagan’s tough hide prevents it. Now Megaguirus must face Bagan’s wrath as he swings around and backhands the dragonfly across the head. Energy surges between his horns, and he sends out a stream of electricity. Wait a second... maybe that’s not electricity.... he appears to be holding Megaguirus with the yellow bolts of energy. If I’m not mistaken again, he’s actually using gravity rays, which make sense considering that he has Ghidorah’s genes in him. Like Ghidorah, he can apparently use them to hold and move his enemies, and he does so by pulling Megaguirus across the city with the beams to plow through a few skyscrapers. Buried in rubble, it appears that Megaguirus is done for.
Kong is still going, though, and he’s charging right at Bagan! The kaiju does the same, and at an even faster speed then Kong could ever muster! They collide right in the center of Ring Park, and the momentum shifts to Kong, who goes careening backwards from force. Before he can get back up, Bagan is already on him, slashing with his claws and kicking with his feet! Kong doesn’t like getting beat up, so he rolls out of the way and springs back up to standing before slamming his fist into Bagan’s face! He punches with his left, he punches with his right, and at the third point he grabs Bagan’s throat with his foot and pulls the kaiju downwards to slam into the ground! Kong hops on Bagan’s back, puts his hands under Bagan’s his chin, and wrenches backwards with great force, intent on snapping Bagan’s neck! A lesser kaiju would have submitted to the force in only a few seconds, but not Bagan, and he also has the added ability of forming energy stars to rain down on his enemies. Kong flinches from the pain of the huge gashes being cut along his body, and that’s all the opportunity needed for Bagan to wrest Kong off of him. Bagan gets right back up, but so does Kong, and the two square off again. Before they can, though, Megaguirus returns with a vengeance! Plowing through a few buildings wasn’t fun, but her armored exoskeleton handled it, and now she’s beating her wings at super sonic speeds to create powerful sonic waves to render quite a lot of pain on her two opponents. Bagan lashes out, but Megaguirus dodges as usual, and soon flies off. Before Bagan can realize the extent of the dragonfly’s agility, he is nailed from behind by Megaguirus’s claw. Looking at his shoulder, he sees a claw hand dug it’s way into his body, but the claw is strangely missing it’s owner. Turns out Megaguirus went in so fast her claw snapped off when it was stuck in Bagan’s shoulder, and now she’s screeching in pain beside him, giving Kong the chance to jump up and knock the insect out of the air! Now Kong’s on top of Megaguirus and beating her with clenched fists! Bagan is not one to let the other two just fight it out, so he sends out some energy stars to slash into the two! An angry Kong charges Bagan in a pain-induced rage and slams hard with a drop-kick, but Bagan remains standing. Kong gets up and wrenches the claw out of Bagan’s shoulder, now wielding it like a weapon to bash Bagan with! The kaiju doesn’t like being smacked around, so quickly lunches forward to knock Kong out of the way. Megaguirus is back up and is buzzing around Bagan relentlessly, causing Bagan to shoot his plasma beam in a vain attempt to stop the annoying insect. He shoots, Megaguirus dodges, he shoots again, Megaguirus dodges again, he shoots yet again, and Megaguirus still dodges but this time Kong was right behind her. Megaguirus used herself as a decoy so that Bagan would shoot Kong trying to get at her, and it succeeded well. Kong looks down at the hole in his chest where vital organs should be, gives a short grunt of pain, and then collapses dead.
Now it’s a one on one match. Bagan is still trying to swat at Megaguirus, but to no avail. Soon the insect flies away, leaving Bagan to stand there in annoyed solitude. Soon Megaguirus is back heading strait for Bagan, and the super monster stands there ready to take the charge, confident that any attack on him would be useless action. Before he knows what hit him, Megaguirus has already jabbed her stinger into his previously injured shoulder at high speeds. Bagan almost seems to laugh at the situation, and then sends energy to his horns to form his energy stars... but nothing happens. His look of confidence turns to a look of confusion as he struggles to get an energy attack going, but failing to do so. He looks down at the stinger, and sees his precious energy seeping from him up the tail and into Megaguirus. Bagan roars in anger before swiping at the stinger, but his roar warned Megaguirus to get out of the way in time. Now full of energy, Megaguirus puts some of it into an energy ball and sends it out at Bagan! A massive explosion erupts around his form, but as the smoke clears one can tell that he’s still standing. Bagan roars again and charges at Megaguirus, but once again the dragonfly proves that she is faster even than him. Stinger back in his injured shoulder, she sucks up more energy before Bagan retaliates. Now swinging wildly in frustration, Bagan has apparently lost all sense of sanity as he fires plasma energy randomly around the city trying desperately to hit his annoying enemy. After a few minutes of constant bombardment all around him, Bagan charges everything he has into an energy shield around him, and when the yellow pulsating mass erupts, there is very little left of the city on Fight Island. Seeing the devastation around him, Bagan gives the monster equivalent of a chuckle, as if laughing at the fact that nothing could have survived that blast. However, he hears movement out towards the ocean, and rising from it is Megaguirus, who was actually hiding underwater when Bagan was attacking everything in site. Too exhausted to move, Bagan doesn’t even attempt to dodge as another energy ball heads towards him and blasts his form. As the smoke clears, Bagan is still there, but Megaguirus is there as well, stinger right back in the whole in his armor. There is no energy left to drain, but sucking energy through her stinger was not Megaguirus’s intention, sending it back in was. Bagan roars a final roar of pain and anger as an energy ball erupts from inside him, causing his whole body to literally explode! The last act may have blown off her stinger, but Megaguirus is still alive after finally killing Bagan, and in that act she has won the match! Presenting the new WMW World Champion... Megaguirus!
Well, that official does it for this episode of Thursday Thrash! After this, there shall be one more episode of the show, which shall be the final episode of the show. Well, in the very least, the final episode for a while, and that isn’t counting the seasonal events, which will still be made. So after Thursday Thrash #7, you’ll have Summer Squash, followed by your regularly scheduled events every three months. That’s the plan anyways, so until next time, good bye and good night!
