EPISODE TEN
August 28th, 2006 - By order of the WMW Commissioner, this week’s episode of Backyard Assault had only one match, a six-man gauntlet match with both the WMW Secondary Championship and the WMW World Championship on the line.
The rules of the match were that two workers would start in the ring, and another would enter every two minutes. The only ways to eliminate an opponent are by pinfall or submission. The winner of the match would be awarded the WMW World Championship, while the last man eliminated would be awarded to WMW Secondary Championship.
MATCH 1:
Gauntlet Match for the WMW Secondary & WMW World Championships
First Entrants: Jacob Munford & WMW Secondary Champion, Jeremy
Jeremy goes straight to work on Munford, as Munford’s constant need to impress Jeremy has done nothing but anger the Secondary Champion even more. The tweo brawl back and forth.
Entry # 3: Davyd Black
As Davyd Black enters the ring, Munford goes straight for him, knocking him to the ground, and pummeling away. Jeremy pulls Munford off of Davyd Black, and Munford hits Jeremy with the Sunset for the pinfall elimination.
Elimination # 1: Jacob Munford eliminates Jeremy by pinfall.
Davyd tried stalling with Munford, who had been dominating him since he entered the match, but eventually entered the ring. The stalling seemed to pay off, as Davyd got the upperhand. Munford put up a hard fought battle, but fell to Davyd’s Figure 4 Sleeper Combination.
Elimination #2: Davyd Black eliminates Jacob Munford by submission.
Davyd has a few moments to catch his breath before the next opponent comes out.
Entry # 4: WMW World Champion, Jesse Swanson
The two men who squared off at Blackout are in the ring once again, and much like their match at Blackout, they go back-and-forth. Davyd starts to get the upperhand, dropping Swanson right on his head. Swanson fights back and rocks Davyd Black with some hard punches, and the next entrant makes his way to the ring.
Entry # 5: Marcus Black
Marcus runs into the ring to aid his brother. The two of them double team Swanson, and Marcus hit a devastating powerbomb on him. Davyd hits Swanson with a Frog Splash, and Marcus hits Swanson with the 9/11, which Davyd follows up with a pinfall.
Elimination # 3: Davyd Black eliminates Jesse Swanson by pinfall.
With only one participant left, The Black Panthers sit and wait for The Insurance Policy to make his way to the ring.
Entry # 6: The Insurance Policy
The Insurance Policy grabs Davyd Black, and pummels him down to the mat. Davyd’s attempts at offense are shrugged off, and I.P. hits the Claims Adjuster to eliminate Davyd Black, leaving only Marcus Black and The Insurance Policy in the ring.
Elimination # 4: The Insurance Policy eliminates Davyd Black by pinfall
The last two entrants go at it, as I.P. has the upper hand, dominating Marcus for most of the remained of the match. I.P. attempts to hit Marcus with the Claims Adjuster, but it’s reversed into the 9/11, and Marcus Black gets the 1-2-3.
Elimination # 5: Marcus Black eliminates The Insurance Policy by pinfall.
