WMW BACKYARD ASSAULT RESULTS WMW Secondary Championship Match
WMW World Champion Jesse Swanson made his way to the ring, and grabbed the house mic. He didn't appreciate the comments the Black Panthers had made earlier in the night, claiming that he was ducking title defenses. He said that if anyone deserved a title shot in WMW, it was his opponent tonight, Alex Cater. He then announced that his match tonight would be for the WMW Championship.
Episode Seven
July 26th, 2006 - Coming out of the Lethal Lottery show last week, it appeared as if Davyd Black & Marcus Black had formed an alliance. Backyard Assault kicked of this week with a word from the newly dubbed "Black Panthers".
Davyd was upset that the WMW Commissioner was forcing him to defend his WMW Secondary Championship in a 4-Way elimination match tonight, while allowing Jesse Swanson to have a non-title match with The Insurance Policy.
Davyd Black (c) vs. Patrick "Pat" Greeley vs. Jacob Munford vs. Jeremy
Davyd Black and Pat Greeley started out the match, in Pat's first match in WMW in over 3 years. The two matched up very evenly and Pat tagged out to Jeremy. Jake Munford was cheering for Jeremy on the outside of the ring, and Munford's actions have not been endearing him to Jeremy as of late. Jeremy eventually tags Munford in, and Munford seems hesitant to get in the ring with his former tag team partner and rival, Davyd Black.
Davyd, made a run for Munford, but was locked in the tazzmission, and tossed with a over the head belly to back tazzplex.
Black tagged out to Jeremy. After some back and forth, Munford was pinned and eliminated for the match.
Elimination # 1: Jeremy eliminated Jake Munford by pinfall
Munford was not upset, as most would assume and continued to cheer Jeremy on from ringside. Pat Greeley entered the ring after Jake's elimination, and the two went back and forth. Jeremy tagged out to Davyd Black. Greeley began to dominate Davyd Black, using his amatuer background to stay one step ahead of the champion, until Black hit Greeley with a european uppercut & a snapmare, followed up with the Figure-Four Sleeper Hold. When Pat reached the ropes, Black became furious and went for a chair on the outside. As Black was about to hit Greeley, the referee grabbed the chair from him. Davyd turned around to argue with the ref, and was rolled up for the pin.
Elimination # 2: Patrick "Pat" Greeley eliminates Davyd Black by pinfall
Jeremy then entered the ring. The two went back and forth, But the "New King of WMW" was too much for Pat Greeley, Jeremy defeated Pat.
The Winner, and NEW WMW Secondary Champion: Jeremy
WMW World Championship Match
Jesse Swanson (c) vs. The Insurance Policy
Swanson and The Insurance Policy locked up, and the big man was dominant almost right from the start. Swanson eventually made a comeback, and it appeared that the two were much more evenly matched than most would think...but out of nowhere, The Black Panthers hit the ring, ending the bout in a no-contest. The four of them brawled, but Swanson & I.P. got the upper hand, and the two bitter enemies took out The Black Panthers with a simultaneous SwanDive & Claims Adjuster. With Marcus Black lying prone on the mat, his arch-rival Jesse Swanson, and his former protege, The Insurance Policy, shook hands.
