WMW Backyard Assault Results
Episode Nine

August 6th, 2006 - With only one show left until the WMW Blackout event, it was announced that WMW World Champion Jesse Swanson would be taking on Marcus Black in a hardcore match.
Davyd & Marcus Black are backstage, and Davyd tells Marcus to warm Jesse Swanson up for their title match at WMW Blackout, and Marcus Black tells him to remember that if Davyd wins the title, he wants the first shot.

MATCH 1:
The Insurance Policy vs. Jake Munford
Jake Munford comes out sporting attire strangely resembling that of his new “role model” Jeremy. Munford attempts to work the match the way Jeremy would, including attempted shots with the kendo stick and a flying leg drop. Munford’s attempts to duplicate the success Jeremy has had as of late do not go as well, and he quickly falls prey to the Claims Adjuster, and The Insurance Policy gets the win.
Your Winner: The Insurance Policy

We cut to backstage, and Jeremy makes it clear that at WMW Blackout, he will defend the WMW Secondary Championship against Jacob Munford.

MATCH 2:
Non-Title Hardcore Match
Jesse Swanson vs. Marcus Black
Marcus Black attacks Jesse Swanson from behind as the Champ makes his entrance, and the two brawl around the ring entrance area. Jesse Swanson get the upper hand, and slams Marcus Black into the side of the building. Swanson then surfboards a chair into the face of Marcus Black.
The two eventually make their way to the ring, and the violence continues. The two go at it, and eventually a ladder is set up outside the ring. Jesse Swanson climbs and goes for the SwanSon Bomb, but decides that isn’t enough. Swanson grabs a steel chair, and lays it across Marcus Black. He goes atop the ladder, and hits a second SwanSon Bomb and pins Marcus Black.
Your Winner: Jesse Swanson
As Jesse heads towards the back, Davyd Black’s music hits, and the two exchange punches, allowing Marcus Black to regain some energy and hit Swanson from behind. Davyd Black grabs the WMW World Title belt, and Marcus Black drives Jesse Swanson’s face into the belt.
Davyd throws Swanson into the ring, and Marcus Black climbs the ladder. Davyd picks Swanson up, and lifts him toward Marcus. Marcus then Superbombs Jesse Swanson into the ring. As Davyd Black looks on, Marcus jumps off the ladder, driving his elbow into Jesse Swanson.
Davyd holds the WMW World Title up as Jesse Swanson lies in agony in the ring, as we end WMW Backyard Assault.
