Cytoplasm

The cytoplasm is a clear, gelatin-like fluid inside the cell that holds all of the organelles suspended. It cushions and protects the other organelles and is present everywhere in the cell that another organelle is not. The first photo shows the location of cytoplasm in the cell. The second shows the view of cytoplasm from under a microscope.
