Vacuole

The vacuole is a large organelle that stores water, food, or wastes. It serves as a storage container for the cell. Vacuoles are present throughout the cell. The first photo shows food vacuoles, (the dark sections)indicating the food being stored inside them. The lower photo shows another vacuole in black and white.
