Although the year is ending
Although the year is done
Tomorrow is unwritten
Although yesterday is gone

The days are not so friendly
As were the days gone by
And swiftly comes tomorrow
So bid yesterday goodbye

Forget the words unspoken
And forget the deeds undone
The future's still unwritten
And the future has begun
