Irrevocably Linking Sex With Violence
by Megan Auffart
First I found him and then my knife did and together they came as one
Her slick silver slid into him head first
diving into belly fat and blood.
She loved him.
She told me in her drips,
splatters on the floor spelling out their names;
her first with his last or versa vice.
Oh look, she cuts her initials into his stomach! A love note!
She loves him.
See how happy he is: grin GRIN!
Smile and cry with joy there's no pain
there's only love in her serrated edges don't you feel her stroke?
Hold still while she slices the wedding cake!
If you're good you'll get a piece.
She will love him.
Look how she shines!
Nestled deep inside his skin,
my knife has found a warm and comfy place to bed.
Celebrate the honeymoon somewhere between the stomach and the liver with
her sharp and accurate skill.
She loved him.
She loves him.
She will always love him.
And together they've come as one.
