They tell you not to smoke anymore,
they say it's bad for you,
they say that smoking kills millions,
and i guess that may be true.
but what about the people,
who like to drink and drive,
they don't think about living,
or trying to stay alive.
all those people care about,
is the alcohol that makes them high.
they never stop to realize,
it can cause someone to die.
they get behind the wheel of a car,
and go speeding down the street,
they don't even hear the sound,
when body and fender meet.
they wake up in the morning,
surrounded by a cold dark cell,
that's when they hear the awful news,
that a policeman has to tell.
what will it take for them to understand,
there's other ways to get their kicks,
you can blend lots of things together,
but drinking and driving just don't mix.
