The Blue-Green World I know that I should fold my wings, Should curl up and rest for the night, Should stop this my wild flight. I will never be able to see all things. But I have not seen all there is to be seen. There is a world still out there, blue-green. I have not seen all the green hills, The sunsets upon the pure pools, The dawns that glimmer like jewels, The light gleaming in the blue rills. But I have not seen all there is to be seen. There is a world still out there, blue-green. I have not seen all the green forests, Not heard all the sweet birdsong, Or the moon's music when night is long- Not a single tone of the soft chorus. But I have not seen all there is to be seen. There is a world still out there, blue-green. Perhaps I will never see all the flowers That I want to, or walk every path. Perhaps I will never hear all fairies laugh. Some things are beyond my powers. I will never see all there is to be seen. Some part of the world will be always blue-green.
