Lanimemec: Note Six
{6} sia: This is the Aril word for "deep darkness without stars or moonlight." It is remarkable that it should appear in the middle of the Lanimemec, since K'ator did possess its own word for darkness. However, the other strange features of the document suggest that the author, writing at speed, may have simply wanted to make sure that his audience understood the lanime loved darkness, without light of any kind, and the Aril word was the first one that came to him.
