the carefree angel
Sleeping Beauty before the sleep
a butterfly
skin, hair, teeth of a young socialite
a head full of spun sugar
lips of ruby-red glass
eyes clear as the October sky
a girl undefiled
without guile or deception
the sensuous harlot
a whore for every boy or girl who calls her
tousled curls, rouged cheeks and lips
blouses with deep Vs, skirts with high slits
leather pants and bikinis
form the whole of her wardrobe
she flirts and flaunts
honey for flies
opening her body freely for the pleasure of others
occasionally, herself
the vampiric goth
self-proclaimed bitch of darkness
her not-so-tender skin pierced with silver ornaments
lips a bloody red, skin a milky white
fitted black clothing with accents of deep purple
emblazoned with symbols mysterious
the morbid trappings form a wall
four inch blade in its sheath
makes her smile
reassured
These three one mind do make
Cerberus rises from ancient days
to battle inside the inconspicuous body of a
quiet one
the nondescript girl
grey eyes behind cloudy lenses
thick book permanently fixed to nose
straight hair simply pulled back
plain, functional clothing
in her breast smoulders a fire
a longing for what will never come to pass
no one cares nor notices
no one knows what lies within her
