Inspired by some show episode or movie where there are two apparently late teens in a couple where one has aids, and they're going to try and see some whales which is one of the things he wanted to do before he died. All I know about the show: There's the main plot with some research going on with "non-advancers" or "non-progressors" or something who never get aids from HIV, and the researchers are getting their sperm and eggs to look at, the female one is a prostitute or something that the guy has to track down. The sperm comes from some guy's gay friend in Canada or somthing. There is some illegal stuff going on to get it. The main characters were mostly male, almost seemed like a CSI kind of feel with the lab stuff going on.
