Humanity is slipping through my fingers |
like the wind or the sand. |
Both others' and my own. |
I've been dwelling amongst the paths of philosophers and creating my own |
to extents that everything else seems trivial and once again I'm beyond what's right or wrong. |
But does that justify allowing the horse that can bear three times the burden to work harder? |
It's hard to say. |
The probabilities are too uncertain, |
it's like trying to predict the existence of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. |
Of course it's entirely possible that this isn't just, |
but of course it's entirely possible that it is. |
But the way that's more noble isn't the way that's right. |
And it's likely that it's futile and doesn't matter anyway. |
And still I struggle between desires, probabilities, and logic. |
Why shouldn't I toss the dice if I don't matter anyway? |
But why should I bother to toss the dice in the first place? |
The valid arguments are conflicting and my desires often contradict the logic. |
I still don't know what... is correct. |
