AT THE BRINK OF INSANITY

Humanity is slipping through my fingers
like the wind or the sand.
Both others' and my own.
I've been dwelling amongst the paths of philosophers and creating my own
to extents that everything else seems trivial and once again I'm beyond what's right or wrong.
But does that justify allowing the horse that can bear three times the burden to work harder?
It's hard to say.
The probabilities are too uncertain,
it's like trying to predict the existence of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.
Of course it's entirely possible that this isn't just,
but of course it's entirely possible that it is.
But the way that's more noble isn't the way that's right.
And it's likely that it's futile and doesn't matter anyway.
And still I struggle between desires, probabilities, and logic.
Why shouldn't I toss the dice if I don't matter anyway?
But why should I bother to toss the dice in the first place?
The valid arguments are conflicting and my desires often contradict the logic.
I still don't know what... is correct.
