Broken shards fill the inside of me. I can't move without feeling the pain of loving you when you don't want to be near me. I turn my body and am wracked with heartache like a locomotive plunging off a cliff in the wild west. The desert surrounds me with its Sahara tans and dust plumes. It's so hot that I'm burning up- but these are tears. I am delusional with pain. How can you expect me to stand this infliction of agony from the excruciating pain of lovelorn solace? |

Solace is actually intended to be a catachresis with the word "Solace" used here to mean tranquility or similar.
The poem is about us fighting recently.
I don't want to write about what we were fighting about, it's too painful.
What's more painful is feeling like I'm losing her, or the construct of her I've made in my mind, if the reality of her is not the same.
