It tore us apart, pulling our hands apart under the guise of time. The world swirled; jobs, longer hair, and you were no longer the person I knew. And you didn't know me anymore. We came face to face, and I was looking at the skeleton of what I once knew; a thin sheet of dried cloth pulled over a person that you used to be. |
