The reason that couples fight, is that they are two spheres who come hurtling towards each other because of great attraction, and they clash and fling themselves apart due to the force of collision; and if they are not flung apart completely, then they clash and clash again, as they settle down, bouncing, in the bottom of the potential well, finally overcoming the momentum that led to their clashes. |

Originally spheres = balls
"as they settle down, bouncing," originally "as the bounce and settle"
Original version did not include line: "And if they are not flung apart completely,"
But was (before written) intended to have a line like that, so it was stuck in.
Considered "and if they are not flung completely away"
