Loyalty.
I sat outside and stared upon my loyal friends upon my haunches. The stars, are my only loyal friends. All of the others have come and gone like the Sun and the Moon. Waxing and waning on the tides of their lives, and not mine. When I needed a buoy, I had none. Only my water in my throat, the taste reminding me of how alone I was. And afterwards, I went outside and sat, and stared upon my loyal friends. |
