MY KISSES

I will kiss you beneath the stars
Every night for the next year
And when you ask me why I have written so many poems on other women
But have not written any on you,
I will tell you it is because all of my love for you goes into my kisses.
And that while I loved each of those women
None of them could receive all my love in kisses
Because none of them loved me as much
So the rest of it came pouring out
In my poems
But you love me enough to receive all of my love in kisses
So I will not write any poems on you
