I climb the notes of our song to the riffs of our happiness, But you're not here. So I grab our cashmere baby blue blanket and hug it close, trying to remember what you felt like in my arms. The stars above shimmer, not from their twinkling, but from the waves of my tears. I look down at the dirt. This hallowed ground held memories of yours and memories of mine but now it holds only my pain, because you've chosen to forget me. |

The "our song" is just humming the tune of the chorus from "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons
Above is how the poem was originally written.
I considered putting a stanza break after "tears".
Also, I considered putting the line breaks after "trying" and after "blanket" instead of after "blue" and after "close."
