Wrote during evening and finished next morning.
It's fictional in the sense that it's a story about a person in highschool dreaming of finding the person they'll marry, but it's on her.
Partly inspired by the song "Give it" by Stars from the album North (2012).
Full song title is actually "Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give It".
Originally was written in present tense and without the words "As an adult", but I decided that making it past tense made the nostalgic aspect stronger.
