I stare at the ceiling
I stare at the wall
I stare at the stars
I envy them all
So far away
so bright and distant
gone in the day
but back in an instant
they feel no sadness
they feel no jealousy
they feel no loneliness
they feel no empathy ,
they feel not crushed
they feel not blue
they feel no love
as I for you
they have it easy
they have it made
and so I will join them,
be it forbade.
