There are days when I miss Katie,
in my bones, where it feels like it's going to rain and the wind's calling her name. When dark clouds drift across the sky, passing on their way to nowhere, and I feel isolated in the world. The trees that once carried my spirits carry them emptily now. The leaves that once fluttered like smiles lay limply, on limply hanging boughs. The roots that once held sturdily, now hang there entirely feebly. And I walk back to the place where I now reside, with nearly nothing inside except dirt, and I miss Katie in my bones. |

Tried changing the 4th line a few times. (and the wind calls her name was original)
