Do you know what you are like?
You are like the sunset, the drops of a waterfall, the drooping leaves of the rainforest, and the mountains full of clouds, You are like the evergreens, the deciduous, and the angios, You are like the grassy fields on hilltops midst the boroughs You are like the spiral arms of a purple galaxy, its surrounding stars the velvet backdrop and the stars that lie between. You are like the crumbled sand on an old forgotten beach or anhydrous rocks in the furthest desert that not a hand has reached You are like the mossy stones that lay guarding by the river the fungi on the cottonwoods, <--northern oaks? the stairs leading to Valhalla. You are like the forest's floor with its leaves and musky air, and yet with all that that is out there, I'd rather have you- here. |
