She lay upon a branch on the opposite side of the tree as I asked her "What if my camera is better than yours?" "What if my camera is better than yours?" She retorted snidely, annoyed. "That's not my point," I said gently, and slid off the tree, coming over to her side. "My point is that then one of us would always have better pictures of the other." I stood over her and looked into her eyes, as she lay on her back on the branch, staring up into the sky, prompting her to say, as she looked into my eyes, instead of the sky because she could never resist my eyes over the sky, "You're too tall." |
