Band 1 (Ages 6-8)
My youngest students will begin by improving their confidence while reading simple books. They will be slowly and gently introduced to poetry by reading simple verse and then illustrating a copy of the poem, which they will then keep in a folder. We will also play word games and do some puzzles.
