Band 2 (Ages 8-10)
Children who are slightly older will progress to slightly more challenging books, for example many children of this age enjoy books such as Roald Dahl's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and, of course, how could we forget J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter series? We will also progress to more challenging poetry and begin working towards exams. Basic theory of speech will be taught at this level.
