New Volunteers

The New England Aquarium has recently held two training sessions for groups of new volunteers and they hope to come back this Fall (2011) to train anyone who could not make the earlier sessions. Volunteers must sign up and then be interviewed prior to attending the training session.

Tip of Great Point Closed

The tip of Great Point has been closed to human and vehicle traffic due to shorebird nesting and gray seals populating the shore. The east and west beaches are still accessible, but the tip has been fenced off to protect the birds and seals from disturbances.
