The Right Thing

In the blink of an eye,
the moment has passed.
Time is the one thing
we can never take back.
So cherish the moment,
short as it may be.
For the future is not our to forsee.
Err not against your spouse,
nor against the child.
Tell them how much they really mean to you.
Then you can start the day with a smile.
