This is a poem about a man named Mike.
He lives on Water Street in a house I like.
In a town called Massena is where he was born
He has an extraordinary talent of predicting a storm.
I call him my Padukes, he's tall as a tree
He walks forty-six miles to fix computers for free.
When it comes to machines he's really quite smart
But what's more important he's got a big heart.
If you are his friend, he'll do anything for you.
He's generous and kind, hilarious too.
In a way he is a modern sage
A sort of a healer in this New Age.
To me he is a father and friend.
I'll love him forever there is no end.
I can talk to him about anything.
I trust him completely with everything.
I hope you like my poem for you, Dad.
You wanted upbeat, this should make you glad.
All I want is a smile upon your face.
So strong and big it will never erase.
Although I live hundreds of miles a way.
I think about you every hour of the day.
I miss having you near, and when i came over and ranted
I guess you don't realize what you would take for granted.
I love you with every inch of my heart.
Forever and ever we're never apart.
Your the best father, padukes, and friend.
All the love in my heart, hugs and kisses I send.
