Standing in the midst
Of a troubled world
Looking up to God
Wondering what to do.
I cry out for help
For myself and for others
God will answer those prayers
And bring us all through.
Sometimes things happen
That is hard to accept
The death of a loved one
The loss of a pet.
But, God hears the cries
Of His children below
Our tears are bottled
And kept,
Don't you know?
So keep looking ahead
As you run in this race
And really, before you know it
You'll be in a better place.
