When the road is too long
And the mountain is too high
Your heart is so broken
You can’t even cry
You’re hurting all over
And nothing seems right
The pain is so strong
You’re too weak to fight
Your mind is filled
With thoughts of despair
You’d reach out to someone
But no one is there
In the still of the moment
You feel all alone
You wonder deep down
Why you’re still holding on
You reach for your Bible
And kneel down in prayer
And say to the Lord
Why is life so unfair?
Then He takes you by the hand
And you know by His touch
Nothing else will go wrong
God knows you’ve had enough
So with a chuckle in your voice
You say to yourself
I know that by faith now
All will be well
