This page is a brief description about myself and my poetry. My name is Deanna. I'm a single, professional mom of 3 boys, Dino-12, Dylan-10, and Drake-7. (the 3D's!) I simply adore them. We reside in Lincoln Park, Michigan. I am currently employed as a Premium Processor with a surety company located in Southfield, Michigan.

As you can see, one of my passions in life is writing poetry. A few of my personal favorites are "Breathe" and "I Love You".

I have a few dedications on here as well. "Letting You Go In God's Time" was written by my best friend, Tami who passed away 10 years ago of cancer. She was my inspiration for writing poetry. Some say time heals all wounds, but I believe writing does as well. Please sign my guestbook. I revise my site on a regular basis, so please visit again. There will be more poems and song lyrics added soon, and maybe a new look.

All of my poems have been published in various poetry books and anthologies. Recent companies that have published my poetry are JMW Publishing and Cader Publishing. "I Love You" and "She Doesn't Know" have both been recorded and read by a professional reader on a nationally released CD, "Sound of Poetry." I authorized "Work" to be released and recorded on the next Sound of Poetry CD as well. I have been looking into publishing a poetry book, but I haven't moved forward with that at the present time, but hopefully very soon in the future.
