Breathe

I can only wish that in time
You and I can truly find
The words we need to help us heal
To tell each other how we really feel
Then maybe one day we can talk
And realize the love we have lost
I can't seem to let go
Of the true love I have known
Nor can I stop the hurt and tears
But as your friend I will always be here
To the Lord I pray each day
And ask that he bring
Your heart back to me one day
But if that time never comes
I know I will always have your love
And for me that's all I need
To continue to BREATHE
