My Heaven

In my heaven there is no sadness
There is only happiness
There is no reason to lie
There is no such thing as a sad goodbye
There is no reason to forgive
Or any reason not to live
Only joy can be found
With nothing but eternal bliss all around
Angels surround us with their love
And the Lord is always smiling from up above
There is no reason to shed a tear
Or to have any sort of fear
There is no poverty or homelessness
Nor does sickness or war exist
Peace is all that is spoken
And hearts cannot be broken
I believe my heaven will happen one day
When I walk through the Lord's doorway
But for now I must complete my life's task
And walk down my chosen path
