Memories under an old oak tree

As I sit here under the old oak tree
All those memories of you comes back to me
Sweet memories of you which me forever enchants
Sweet memories of you and our everlasting romance

Our love is eternal The flame will forever be burning
Our journey through the centuries is a travel of learning
Learning how absence can make love grow even more
How longing and waiting makes me you forever adore

Loving you is like swimming in raving oceans
Will I drown into those waves of emotions?
You are my island which gives me protection
Embracing me on the shore of affection

Even though our love seems impossible to be
I know we will embrace each other in the ever lasting sea
Where the water lilys represents our growing love
And how we cherish each other like the flying birds above

Those raindrops which falls down on my face
are your fingertips caressing my cheek
with such wonderful grace
And when I lay down on the meadow to rest
I close my eyes and lean against your chest

Like the sunbeams you kept me warm when I froze
Like the flowers on the meadow I was your wild growing rose
A rose dependent on the nourishment you gave
A rose which color will never turn grave

Being your lover is like walking in a desert storm
So mighty and strong yet so lively and warm
Those desert nights so cold and unforseenable
bring us closer so close it is unbelievable

If my soul feels like a solar eclips
If my bright and sunny mood ever dips
You will be my corona which brings life to my sun
and our bodies like lava when we are melting into one

This night is so quiet and serene
as I sit here under the old oak tree
The sky is dark and moonlit And then I suddenly see...
...a shooting star it´s gleaming will soon cease

...knowing you saw it too leaves my heart and soul
in peace.
