In The Eyes Of A Child
The Civil War, Vietnam,
Pearl Harbor and Sadam.
They all seem distant, they aren't real
to me.
But terror pounced on us all too fast.
Planes crash down, how long will it last?
They targeted New York, but all America
is touched.
Lives slip away, memories are clutched.
The numbers are, there's too many to count
People's lives are changed an enormous amount.
The crashes, the fires, the shattered towers
Who did it and why the search goes on for
endless hours
The death and sorrow is too much to take.
It all seems like a movie, it all seems
fake.
Lady Liberty stands high and she'll never
fall.
They can make our buildings fall to the
ground,
But America is strong and it won't be shut
down.
To get through all this will be such a hard
fight.
Can you imagine mothers telling their children,
"daddy isn't coming home tonight''
Can you imagine a little girl down on her
knees,
Saying
"God, let mommy fall asleep without crying,
please''
Can you imagine a little boy
whose mother won't pack his lunch anymore.
Can you imagine seeing a loved one lying
in a casket
and all you can do is turn and walk out
the door?
This is what hate and anger has done.
Now it is time for us to unite as one.
Our country is free, A better life for all,
Lady Liberty stands high and she'll never
fall.
God Bless America!

American Will Never Die
Planes crash buildings fall down ruining
this town.
Is It to late ?
Who will save us now?
All we can do is pray will live through
this somehow.
Stricken by terror loss an pain its like
Pearl Harbor all over again.
Sadness starts but its not the end, we will
fight for what we've lost,
America will keep its freedom at any cost.
God will, keep us safe throughout these
terrible days of sorrow,
try to live it will be better tomorrow.
Time has not stopped to wait for us to catch
up.
Life is different now only filling half
a cup.
The pledge of Allegiance, Justice for all.
Our mighty world has taken a fall.
Life is different now here it's okay to
stop and shed a tear.
What we've suffered is great loss and pain.
Our lives will never be the same again.
So remember when you stop to cry, America
will never die.
