Angel Sent Down
I remember the day
God brought you my way
So tiny and new
with eyes big and so blue.
So tiny and frail,
my tears left a trail
you made it alright
with your willing eager fight.
Then the moment came,
a rainbow replaced the rain.
The patter of your feet
made my heart skip a beat.
Your smile made it clear
I had everything to fear
For you were an angel sent down,
to rid me of my frown.
I was to protect you from harm,
but how, without an alarm?
big brothers curiosity,
only proved all the philosophies.
