Did you take a moment to speak for me today?
to tell someone that my Blood provides the only way
To free them from sin and habit,
to reach God and heaven too?
Or have you quite forgotten that I gave all for you?
Did you give a moment in supplication and prayer
For that soul who's so burdened in depths of dark despair
Who only needs the encouragement of a thoughtful word or two
When you explain sincerely how I gave all for you?
Have you offered any love to that soul who's sunk so low
In sorrow and anguish and pain that only He can know,
While his world crumbles about him and no way out in view?
Couldn't you give a shred of hope when I gave all for you?
Couldn't you speak my word to the sinner who needs me now,
Who wants to find salvation but doesn't quite know how?
Or did you forget my servant with council plain and true
Whom I sent to teach, in love, that I gave all for you?
Couldn't you give a moment to the soul who's lost the way
Who only needs someone - to stop - and speak - and pray?
Knowing that the love I give will soon come shining through
With strength and power i offered when I gave all for you.
Will you give the moments you will have to spend each day
Feasting on my word, and love, for strength along the way;
To prepare yourself for the work I've planned for you to do;
Winning the souls I died for when I gave all for you?
