Ever since the earliest days, when Moses was my choice,
He was able to lead my people because He listened to my voice,
When I gave Him instructions, He always carried them out,
And that I had chosen him, there was rarely any doubt,

But when there was doubt, and some thought that they
Could take Moses' place and rule a different way,
Korah and his followers, through being Satan's tools
Came against my Chosen One and ignored my laws and rules
Seeking a higher office, they came with one accord,
Then Moses Cautioned: "You have come against the Lord"
This step against me and my word was the wrong one,
And the next day they all died for what they had done.
Years later they wanted a King, so i chose Saul
To lead them in battle, or wherever I would call,
But He was given a simple command to lead and obey,
He decided to change my word and go another way.

That rebellion cost him his life, and his realm,
And I placed my Servant David at the Helm
To rule my people as I showed the way,
And His name is honored to this very day.

But many years later after many Evil Kings,
And My people had sought after Idolatrous things,
I plunged them into slavery for 400 years
Of tyranny, bitter sorrow, agony and tears.

I sent my only Son to save them from their Sin,
With condemnation to lose and eternity to win.
They rejected my son, sent him to his death,
And He prayed for their forgiveness with His dying breath.

He created a new era, that by believing on His name
We can be forgiven and released from all blame.
But some come to my house to lead my child astray
And try to show, by my word, that there is some other way.

They cause confusion in my house and try to take away
The joy my family has in going the right way.
So if someone comes in with a Doctrine that's not true
Check with my word to see if that's for you.

The Salvation promise is still the same today,
The precious blood of Jesus is still the only way.
And the one teaching falsely whom my word calls profane
Will one day seek joy, and heaven -- in vain.
