Did you ever wonder why you don't accomplish more?
Why your best-laid plans and ideas never get off the floor?
You always look at others and the way they work and live,
And their success is measured by the energy they give,
Or commensurate with the education they received;
But that's not the tapestry with which history is weaved.
Knowledge or hard work hasn't always had a part
In someone getting off into fame with a blinding start.
Some people have achieved fame being born to wealth,
While others attained notoriety through fraud and stealth.
Whatever the case, they are usually sure
To be attracted or influenced by sins' allure.
But their children will cause anxiety and aching heart
Because of the sin in which they've taken part.
And the degradation and shame
Will cause permanent stigma to their name.
After years of sorrow and endless tears it seems,
Like a puff of smoke, the end of their dreams
They try counseling to clear the clouds of doubt
And nothing helps, there's just no way out.
But wait a minute, there is a perfect way
To end drugs and habits day by day.
God's Son said, cast upon me all your care,
Look at 1 Peter 5:7, you'll find it there.
It was Jesus who died for all your sin
At last, you can have Joy and Peace within
It's so easy, all you have to do is pray,
Ask Jesus to come into your heart today
Forgive you of all the sin and shame
And save your soul in Jesus name.
As it is written in God's Holy Word,
He cares for what happens to one little bird.
God cares so much more what happens to you,
In Luke twelve-seven it says that's true.
So it doesn't matter what anyone has said,
Trust and believe God's Holy Word instead,
For it says Jesus died upon a cruel tree
And now you and I are forever free.
Our future now is no longer dim,
For we shall spend Eternity with Him.
