Do you include Jesus in everything you do,
Trusting Him each day to steer a course that's true?
knowing that whatever the outcome of any test
You'll always be the winner for Jesus knows what's best,
And gently shows which path will take you through
Because the ruler of the Universe loves and cares for you.
You see, there isn't any praise if He should let you fall
When you're trusting Him completely to be your all in all.
But if you do your own thing and make the choice yourself
Without consulting Jesus, and end up on a shelf,
You may drop into a hole from which you can't retreat,
Then even if the Master gets you back upon your feet
It is rarely possible to shed the grime and dirt
Of willful self-indulgence without someone getting hurt,
And all too often, if you escape the pain that's due,
You find you usually gave it to someone close to you.
And sometimes there are consequences that cannot be repaired,
And cause that one to wonder if you ever really cared.
When you could have avoided your bubble being burst
If you had just taken the trouble to go to Jesus first.
He's ready, and waiting, and listening for your call,
for no problem, no trial, no decision is too small,
If you trust Him completely, with everything, - day or night,
With Jesus in control it will always come out right.
