In God's word we find that Moses was God's man,
Whatever the circumstance, He knew that God can !!!
He never questioned the authority of his Master and Lord,
Whose perfect will was the goal he was aiming toward.
Whatever God instructed, He promptly carried it out,
Because He was a servant without a trace of doubt
That God would certainly do everything He said.
Israel was in bondage, believing forefathers dead,
God, knowing That their freedom was both distant and dim
Formulated a plan that would draw them all to Him.
With Taskmasters so severe they were longing to be free.
And submitted to God's plan that offered Liberty.
They plundered Egypt and fled, leaving that country bare,
In restitution for all the hardships they had to bear.
God gave ordinances and boundaries to keep them strong,
He filled their lives with wonders and filled their hearts with song.
Leaving Egypt, they arrived at the Red Sea's Shore,
And in the distance Pharaoh approached to harass some more
God divided the Red Sea and, on dry land, they all crossed.
God then closed the waters and all Pharaoh's army were lost.
God allowed many dangers to see what they would do,
And every time they trusted Him, He brought them safely through.
These trials were not recorded just to show what God can do,
But to show that if you trust Him, what He will do for you.
Whatever the problem may be, no matter how hard the test,
If you take it to God FIRST, he always knows what's best.
Now, it's there in God's word to take with you as you leave,
God WILL make it happen, if you trust Him and believe.
