When upon life's bumpy road there comes a test,
And you can't seem to give your daily tasks your best,
When a crisis occurs almost every single day,
And there just doesn't seem to be any other way,

Does it seem you are traveling life's toughest mile,
And you just don't think you can weather this trial,
If you keep stumbling through tears and woes,
While you keep trying not to step on anybody's toes?

If you're under the control of habits you can't lose,
And you've come to realize who you really abuse,
If it's loved ones you've been hurting all these years,
And caused your closest family all those tears,
LEAVE IT AT THE CROSS.
Has someone close to you been losing their mind,
And there's no one in this world who's been so kind?
You wish there was some way you could let them know
Your love is the same no matter where they go,
LEAVE IT AT THE CROSS
Have you been hurt by someone close to you
Who is indifferent no matter what you do?
Have your offers of friendship gone up in smoke?
Did you receive curses for the nice words you spoke?
LEAVE IT AT THE CROSS.
Are there times when depression fills your day,
And the cloud of gloom just refuses to go away?
Do you feel sometimes that no one seems to care
And there isn't any peace or comfort anywhere?
LEAVE IT AT THE CROSS.
Everything in God's Word is absolutely true,
Every word of every promise was written for you.
In the Name of God's Son Jesus, whose blood will atone,
Take it to His Cross, AND LEAVE IT ALONE.
