Many people believe they're walking purity's path
Because God gave them control of the sin of Wrath.
The bad temper they once had is now held in check,
Repaired relationships they once tried to wreck.
They no longer keep prejudice bottled up inside,
And there aren't any vices they're trying to hide.
The unclean habits they had to learn to quell,
They have much nicer stories and jokes to tell.
More patience is reflected in their Christian walk,
There's even self-control in the way they talk.
They're not wasting time in pool halls and bars
Keeping their family in nice homes and cars.
But there's a rule more important than cars or houses,
More than yourselves, you must love your spouses.
Especially you must love one another,
As Christ cares for each Sister and Brother.
All Christians will wear a bright Diadem
Because of Christ's love, for you, and them.
There is one special thing that you can do:
Let Jesus love everyone else, through you.
