When you've had to make decisions, and there were quite a few,
That strengthened your relationship between your God and you,
That's when you were alert to the Spirit's gentle prod,
Showing you the direction that would best glorify God.
Passing through many Crises that would have stopped some men,
Rising above tough situations again and again.
Before you even knew me I influenced things your way,
And sent a guardian Angel to watch over you each day.
And in the face of Danger, my protection played a part
That would soften, mold and influence your hardened heart.
Till you finally came to Jesus with a life so defiled
That only God could change it and make you his true child.
Through all the times when you didn't know what to do
When it seemed the right decision was just too tough for you,
Then suddenly the right answer popped into your mind
Leaving all the other conclusions way, far behind.
Each endeavor will succeed, no matter what you do,
Because the Angel I sent is watching over you.
But when you deal with people whose thoughts you cannot sway,
You'll only clear those hurdles when you continue to pray.
Because I gave you an Angel to help when you need a lift,
You must be an angel, for that's your special gift.
Stay away from the old life and cultivate the new,
Being careful not to slip because My Angel is watching you.
Stay true and close to God and keep your honor clean,
You do not need the world's crutch on which to lean,
Simply shun every sin that would transpire
And eventually He'll give you, every heart's desire.
